I suffer from social phobia/ anxiety. I dread leaving my house and even ordanrily mixing with people is stressful

I was formerly on zoloft and lagactl but I feel very insecure after taking lagactl so I’m off it.

I still feel I need extra to the zoloft( actually sertraline which is the generic name)

If you know of any superb treatments, pls let me have them , whether medication or therapy. I prefer medication though!

i have heard a lot about omega 3 helping OCD sufferers… is it true? how about inositol?

if these vitamins can help lessen OCD, most would rather take them than medications like prozac or zoloft right? because it doesn’t have side effects.. if you were to choose, would you take vitamins or medication?

and, can you diagnose yourself w/ OCD? or you really have to go to the doctor? if you read a lot about OCD and its symptoms, and you feel it is OCD, can you diagnose yourself?

I have been taking zoloft and klonopin for anxiety for a while and I think it is no longer helping enough. I am thinking of switching to a different ssri and ativan (instead of klonopin). Any suggestions on what the best med is for generalized anxiety disorder. Thanks!
